Known for several hit series, Studio Trigger has delivered an incredible makeover.
On X, the official Japanese Transformers account shared the brief promo vid, animated by Studio Trigger. Known for Kill la Kill, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and work on Star Wars: Visions, the animation studio has been known to deliver high-quality sci-fi projects. This makeover is nothing short of remarkable, putting the Hasbro/Takara Tomy franchise in a stunning twist.
This year, Transformers is celebrating its 40th anniversary, marking a major milestone for the franchise. Already fans have been able to see the original animated series in theaters, while media projects are still expanding on the animated and film franchises.
Transformers’ Collab with Studio Trigger has Major Potential
At present, it is not known if Studio Trigger will be involved in a larger Transformers project. The caption for the post labels this a teaser of a promo video (PV) for the fortieth anniversary. That could mean the animation studio only gets a brief moment to showcase its abilities with this globally-renowned and beloved heroes. If that is the case, this teaser provides a promising glimpse at the promo. Given the studio’s track record, it’d be more exciting if this serves as a prelude to a bigger collaboration. No official date has been provided for the release of this Transformer promo video from Studio Trigger.
