We are only 14 days away from the first official day of spring! The outside garden still has a long way to go, so I’m continuing to care for the houseplants inside and dream about what’s to come. I was looking to bring in some sunshine, so I created this floral arrangement indoors.

Calla lilies have always been one of my favorite flowers. Do I just have to choose one? That seems too hard. I was looking for cheerful yellow blooms. They ended up making an excellent focal point for this arrangement.

White Snow Ball Feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium)

I am always drawn to adding flowering herbs to arrangements. This charming feverfew really caught my eye. I thought it would make a good filler flower.

Purple Stock (Matthiola incana)

As soon as I saw this vibrant, deep jewel toned stock, I knew it would make a great accent flower. I really love mixing yellow and purple together. I think it makes such a lovely combo. I grew stock in my garden from seed for the very first time last season. They have such an alluring scent that just keeps me going back for more.

White Veronica (Veronica spicata)

I knew I wanted a vertical element to this flower arrangement. Veronica turned out to be just what I was looking for. I grow purple Veronica in my flower garden. I definitely want to add in some white blooms this season. They are just absolutely stunning!

Thank you for joining me while I daydream about spring. We’re almost there! Do you have a favorite flower? Maybe you’re like me and find it hard to choose! For more floral inspiration, visit Rambling in the Garden. As always, happy gardening!
