ActiveCollab 8.0: My Work and Estimates

Hello everyone,

Welcome to ActiveCollab’s latest updates! In July, we discussed the enhancements to the People page and making Subtasks visible on Workload, the Timeline view, and the mobile app. In this recap, we’ll share the improvements we made to Estimates, Reports, and My Work.

ActiveCollab 8.0: My Work

The task list on the My Work page has been revamped to enable changing task labels and due dates. My Work now shows the total amount of time tracked on the task and its estimate. We’ve included the option to start the Stopwatch from My Work to start tracking time on a task.

The user can also set the preferences to show exactly what they want to see in the My Work list and show only aspects important to them.

As you are tracking your time, ActiveCollab will let you know if you are approaching the time estimate or if you went over it, allowing you to always stay on track to complete tasks successfully.

ActiveCollab 8.0: Estimates

We’ve been enhancing the Estimates feature to enable filtering of the created offers.

It is also possible to sort the estimates using different criteria: estimate date, activity, and amount. Estimates data is updated in real-time, without refreshing the page, enabling users to stay up to date with ease.

Uptime

ActiveCollab’s uptime in August was 100%. If you notice that the app is slower, contact our support team via email and X.

Coming up

We’ll continue working on the Estimates feature to make it possible to define and edit the date of each estimate manually. Plus, we”re working on creating the updated user profile and the assignments dashboard for a better overview and a deeper insight into all the important aspects of a user profile, projects, and tasks.
