Over the weekend, the world-renowned yet anonymous street artist Banksy delighted art enthusiasts by unveiling his latest piece on one of our billboards in Cricklewood, North-West London. The artwork, featuring a beautifully stencilled image of a stretching cat, was the sixth in a series of animal-themed creations that Banksy has been revealing across London over the past week.
This unexpected addition to our billboard on Edgware Road quickly drew the attention of locals and visitors alike, creating an atmosphere of excitement and wonder. People from all over London flocked to Cricklewood, eager to capture a glimpse of the iconic work.
Ironically, this billboard was already set to be demolished and rebuilt due to wear and tear, with the planned maintenance scheduled for Monday, just days after it became a canvas for Banksy. They do say timing is everything, don’t they? We are excited to have played a part in bringing this stunning artwork to Cricklewood, there have been mixed emotions and comments surrounding it, what do you think?
